From the deep sighs to the promises to do better, apology videos have become such a common occurrence that people have started viewing them as jokes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>James Charles<\/a>, a famous beauty YouTuber with 24.1 million subscribers, even held an \u201cApology video\u201d challenge on his reality show, <\/span>Instant Influencer<\/i><\/a>, which involved him having to teach contestants how to craft the perfect YouTube<\/em> apology.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span> Although it is unclear when the first ever YouTube<\/em> apology was posted, parodies have been circulating online since as early as 2015. \u201c<\/span>Sincere Apology<\/a>\u201d, the first known apology parody was posted by YouTuber <\/span>PBGGameplay<\/a> whose video\u00a0 garnered over 1.5 million views. Over the years, more and more of such videos have surfaced, turning influencer apologies into memes. Some examples include <\/span>\u201cReacting to Influencer Apology Videos\u201d<\/a> and <\/span>\u201cRating Youtuber Apology Videos\u201d<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Wendy Cheng, 37, better known by her online personality <\/span>Xiaxue<\/a>, has commented on how repetitive apology videos have become on an episode of <\/span>FIRST DATES<\/i><\/a>, a YouTube<\/em> series hosted by fellow influencer, <\/span>Royce Lee<\/a>. Simply put, this is apologising, yet not really apologising. A prime example would be <\/span>TmarTn<\/span><\/a> (not his real name)\u2019s now deleted YouTube<\/em> video, where he \u201capologised\u201d for an online gaming lotto scam. Basically he\u2019s saying, \u201cI didn\u2019t do anything wrong, if you find it offensive, it\u2019s on you!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The legendary video was dubbed the \u201cWorst Apology Video of All Time\u201d and has since been re-uploaded by others just so it will never be forgotten.
